Lincoln Kennedy aka Dr LK is a talented artist who is bringing a unique flow of music that combines different genres in one. He is known for his experimental cross overs and adaptations of Hip Hop, R&B, Rap, Reggae, Dance and Club music. His unique way of writing poetic and edgy yet subtle lyrics are intertwined seamlessly with multiple styles of music he creates. He likes to describe his flow and genre as ‘experimental music’ because he chooses the genre as per his mood and feelings.

They say that artists are born and not made which holds true in the case of Dr LK as he started out at a very early age when he would just stare out of the window, connecting with his feelings and expressing them in poetic words. He started his journey writing poetry and over the years, he developed an interest in blogging, songwriting before becoming a full-fledged singer and composer. “Music allows me to express my thoughts and emotions without any boundaries and that’s what I love the most about it. Despite having a challenging childhood and facing a roller coaster life growing up, Lincoln tries to stay positive and derives his deepest inner strength from his faith. He says, “Never judge a book by its cover” & “You can never walk in another person’s shoes”. Lincoln has no inhibitions when it comes to music and he isn’t afraid to experiment with different genres or working out of his comfort zone to create music. Talking about his music, he says, “I’m an acquired taste, you’ll either love me or hate me”. His songs can be defined as the perfect blend of contemporary and old school music, which is both creative and entertaining. From emotionally charged R&B to dance floor pounding club music, Lincoln isn’t afraid to go extreme with his music.

Dr LK is an independent artist who writes his own lyrics and melodies to his songs. He has several releases lined up through 2019 and 2020.
