Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 5th Annual Colors Art Exhibition

Palm Springs, CA, USA – March 11, 2021 – Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 5th Annual Colors International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography using a concentration of colors. One color or a multitude of colors met the criteria for this competition. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.

The Colors Best in Show winners are Barney Levitt for his oil on panel, “In Living Color”, Robert Bolla for his digital photo painting, “At the Market” and Terry J. Anderson for his wood assemblage, “Abstract Alphabet”. Barney, Robert and Terry are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of March 2021 and, as the Best in Show winners, all three artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s 6th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, California in 2022.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Robert Padovano, Tim McEnerney, and Lynn Weilin. Third Place awards were given to Cher Pruys, Stuart Skalka, and Cynthia Correia. Fourth Place awards were given to Nicole Stirling, Y. Hope Osborn and Brian Mark. Fifth Place awards were given to Ellen Levine, Barbara Mierau-Klein and Phyllis Mantik deQuevedo.

Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are seventeen Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Melinda Patrick, Valeri Cranston, Conni Jo Hardie, Jessica Kunnas, Christine O’Dell-Ferguson and Eric Li.

Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Brian McClean, Lydia Kittle, Barbara Klimczak, Jennifer Dougherty, Monty Orr and Francis O’Donnell.

Honorable Mention awards in the 3-Dimensional category were given to Nini Lion, Martie Geiger-Ho, Karen Ford, Shiqin Zhu and Danielle Bewer.

The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the S, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, China, Malaysia, Ireland, France, Guyana, Philippines and Poland. Overall, the gallery judged 597 entries and accepted 187 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for the month of March.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in hundreds of press release announcements, email marketing, online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media outlets.
