Now Also Available on Android: Fourdesire’s Playful Task Management App To-Do Adventure That Converts To-Do Lists into Mission-Accomplished

TAIPEI, TAIWAN – To-Do Adventure, the new personal task management app is now available on Android, Taiwan’s leading mobile app developer Fourdesire announced today. Released in September, To-Do Adventure is a gamification of personal task management that transforms the creation and execution of to-do lists into a fun-packed experience.

Today’s hectic daily lives mean many people struggle to keep up with all the tasks and projects they need to manage. Productivity is especially challenging these days, when a lot of people are working remotely as a result of the pandemic. With so many new things and distractions popping up, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by the numerous tasks to juggle with every day. To-do lists have become essential in helping busy workers prioritize tasks and stay organized. However, according to studies, only about 60% of to-do list items get accomplished. They are perceived as boring schedulers, turning people into human robots. By contrast, To-Do Adventure takes a refreshing approach, providing a gamified spin to the otherwise boring task management process.

Available for download now on Google Play, the app is an efficient time management tool which allows users to create and schedule tasks and keep track of each task’s status. To-Do Adventure is centered on creating cute little islands while executing the tasks on one’s to-do list. With each task completed, the landscape becomes more diverse and beautiful. Unlike many to-do list apps that focus on giving users a sense of accomplishment with each completed task, To-Do Adventure portrays the list of uncompleted tasks as undesirable objects such as a broken bridge or an unfinished construction, suggesting that the user needs to improve his task management skills. To discourage users resorting to procrastination, the landscape becomes aesthetically less pleasing whenever the user delays a task or does not complete it on time. Whether it be an erupting volcano or broken bridge that pops up, To-Do Adventure illustrates the destructive consequences of putting off tasks.

To kick-start 2021, millions of people will make New Year’s resolutions, hoping to spark positive personal change. To-Do Adventure is a fun tool that helps users to set clear and achievable goals, make large overwhelming tasks manageable and fulfil their New Year’s resolutions. It’s ideal for students, office workers and anyone who is looking for an amusing way to improve their productivity or time management skills.

“Our mission is to create apps that help people be healthier and develop better habits. We are excited to have released To-Do Adventure to help increase productivity and improve time management skills. We know that the mind can be a cluttered place, but with our engaging features and visuals, we can help our users become the best version of themselves.” Wei-Fan Chen, founder and CEO of Fourdesire, said.

To-Do Adventure follows the principles of bullet journals, a widely used method of task management. It is an extended memory to helps users free up their mental space, so they can better concentrate and think clearly. Not having to constantly worry about what you are forgetting gives peace of mind and therefore reduces stress levels. Especially in the workplace, this mental clarity and stress relief are critical.” Wei-Fan Chen continued.

To-Do Adventure is the fourth mobile app released by Fourdesire, the notable Taiwan-based developer with a track record of success since its foundation in 2012. Their first app, Plant Nanny, was launched in 2013; it encourages users to develop better habits when it comes to drinking their daily intake of water. Plant Nanny², an upgraded version, was released in 2019. It combines new technologies and a unique interface design that brought it global success, being named among Google Play’s list of Best App of 2019 in a number of different countries, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Italy, and Spain. In 2014, their second mobile app, Walkr – Galaxy Adventure in Your Pocket, received the Best Game Award from the Apple App Store. This app focuses on making physical activities such as walking more enjoyable for users. Fourdesire introduced Fortune City in 2017, an app that helps users track their personal expenses, it was awarded the title of Best App in Taiwan, South-Korea, Hong Kong and Google Play stores that same year. One year later, in 2018, Fortune City was honored with the Red Dot Design Award.
