Mixed Reaction Observed on Bharat Bandh

November 29

moneyNew Delhi, Tuesday, November 29 – Mixed response was observed on Bharat Bandh against demonetisation a day ago. In most of the Delhi regions, shopkeepers opened their shops as like any other day.

According to a few traders, “cash crunch already affected our business to a great extent. Unnecessary closing of the shops would not give us desired result as protest call by the opposition doesn’t seem to make BJP rollback on banning Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes”.

Despite the fact that various ATMs are having no cash and running dry, the masses expect things to come on track soon. At a time Bharatiya Janata Party called Bharat Bandh a ‘flop show’, the Congress blamed the BJP for spreading false information and mentioned that the party never asked for a nationwide shutdown on November 28 but ‘Jan Aakrosh Diwas’ to express disapproval over demonetising Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000.

Even though a lot of people carried on facing the trouble to get their turn to withdraw money from ATMs thanks to big queues, they felt the step will help countrymen in the near future.  Steadily, people are able to take sums out from their accounts. Employees and students went to their work places and educational institutes without any trouble. Some problems, however, were faced by some in a few places due to protest rallies.
