MALAYSIA – 5th December, 2019 – NEXEA, a leading startup investment company is pleased to announce that they had recently finished an accelerator program and have invested in five early-stage startups – HAUZ, Krenovator, Prepay, Lokein and Reemedy. The company has invested a total of RM250, 000/ US$60,160 in the above-mentioned startups.

The NEXEA Angel Investors have started the NEXEA Startup Accelerator and Startup Corporate Pilot Programs than went on for four months and concluded on 14 November 2019. NEXEA received around 150 applications and 20 were shortlisted for a month-long program. Only the final five startups were allowed to continue with the programs for the remaining three months. 

All the five startups worked head to head to win the Judge’s Favorite Award. However, HUAZ emerged as a winner and Prepay won the Crowd Favorite Award. NEXEA, a venture capital company, has collaborated with major players in the industry as its corporate partners. According to the company spokesperson, NEXEA has invested in 16 companies during the last four rounds of their Accelerator Program. The event was a huge success and NEXEA has already started planning for the accelerator program which is going to be held in 2020.
